Joint Youth Weekend

Each year we organise a joint youth weekend for young people from P7 to 6th year at Castlewellan Castle. It’s an amazing weekend that gives young people the opportunity to have some fun, makes some good friends and find out the amazing truth of Gods love.

P5-P7 Weekend Away

This is a fun, action packed weekend away for children in P5-P7.  It’s a great opportunity to spend time with friends, get to know new people and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Passage

Passage is an exciting programme for young men aged 16-25, it’s about character, personality and discipleship.  It’s about exploring what it means to be a man of God, discovering your own character and having fun.

Soul Sistas

At Soul Sistas we have a great time getting to know one another and eating a lot of food!  We address issues such as self image, self esteem, purpose, prayer, relationships and much more.

Genesis weekend

In June each year our young adult’s ministry takes over Whitepark Bay youth hostel, giving young adults an opportunity to worship together, study Gods word, play games and hang out with friends.

Summer Madness

As the school year comes too an end what better way of spending 5 days at Ireland largest Youth Festival.  The event is mix of teaching, seminars, worship, activities, and fun stuff.

Summer Mission Teams

An essential part of our Youth Mission Strategy.  Due to the time required to plan mission trips, recruit a team, and fundraise, we seek to organise one every two years.

Transform Team 2009

Knock has an established relationship with Tearfund, which is a reputable organisation with experience of sending teams all over the world.  Such a youth mission team would enhance Tearfund’s profile within the congregation.  

Summer outreach

In the 2nd week of August we run a cross community sports camp with young people in P5 to 4th year.  The Game of three halves sports camp was introduced in 2006. 

Junior King’s Cross

Kings Cross Club is our summer outreach for children from the church and the community.  This is an exciting week with stories, games, craft and singing.

Streetreach

Partnering up with a number of other local churches as part of the ‘Streetreach’ project the 3rd week of August each year.  Streetreach was inspired by Summer Madness a faith in action programme that encourages Christian young people to get their hands dirty literally by giving back to their community.

Summer School

The Summer School will be a great opportunity for spiritual retreat, teaching and training in youth ministry skills and, that much needed chance to network with others working with young people.
